Farmhouse Kitchens

A farmhouse kitchen can be a modern, classic or even cottage style. Modern and cottage style farmhouse kitchens incorporate a lot of woods and whites into the design. Open shelving seems to be a favorite feature of these style kitchens as well.

Liz Marie Galvan has one of our favorite cottage farmhouse kitchens. The kitchen is bright and airy with just the right balance of vintage chippy dรฉcor. We love how you can design a modern style kitchen and then simply add an antique island to completely transform the vibe. The image below is more proof that you don’t have to have a large kitchen to make a big statement.

Open shelves and displaying collectables seems to be a trend with cottage style farmhouse kitchens. White marbles counter tops parred with the look of old fashion bead board blends modern amenities that perfectly balance the old with the new.

Arlene from Farmhouse2020 on Instagram does a great job blending the old with the new. Her and her husband recently built a new home, but she has designed some features in her kitchen that give you the feeling that the house has been here for many years. Adding special features in your new kitchen can make it unique, like this built-in that holds a collection of blue ball jars.

We are super excited with results and service. Tony offered really helpful suggestions. Our dream build was pretty complicated but he and his designer were able to meet our needs.
