Have you seen barndominiums? Let me tell you, this is the newest craze that is sweeping the nation. Not, only are barndominiums economical, and affordable, there are so many different styles to choose from. I have seen in the past ten years or so, more and more people gravitating toward downsizing their homes and paying off their debt to live a more minimal lifestyle. As more people see the benefits of building barndominiums, steel building homes and shop houses, the more you’ll see these gorgeous homes popping up all over the U.S. These homes can have massive garage doors, big enough to pull an RV into, along with a fishing boat, a pair of jet skis and maybe even a zero-turn lawn mower. I’m talking about a 40×60 SF garage. Tell me your husband wouldn’t be drooling at the thought of a giant man area, which is all his. Don’t worry ladies, these barndo’s and shop houses are not only for the men, although we can let them think that.
This beautiful farmhouse shop house is perfect and checks all the boxes for the both of you, and I call it a farmdo. I am not sure if farmdo is even a real word but this barndominium was specifically designed to look like a gorgeous farmhouse mixed with the classic metal exterior and large attached shop that the barndo’s are known for. Let’s face it ladies, we want what we want, and maybe, just maybe, it’s that beautiful farmhouse we have always wanted to live in. And you know that your husband wants what he wants as well, and maybe it’s a large garage to hang out in with his buddies! We make compromises for one another. In all truthfulness we ladies need our own space, and they need theirs. But seriously though, why would you compromise one for the other when you can have both?
